AMPHACADEMY 2016

After a successful first edition last year, the Amphacademy 2016 will be again an international meeting for experienced researchers, leading scientists, opinion leaders and experts in the Amphasys community. Initiated as a platform for the worldwide Amphasys community, the Amphacademy offers the possibility for discussing new perspectives in research, discovering fascinating visions and exciting developments of the Ampha Z30.

The two-day program will start with an interactive symposium meeting on Friday September 2, 2016. Renowned keynote speakers will highlight the developments and discuss new trends in single cell analysis. Other highlights will be live demos, expert workshop, presentation of the new software and customer success stories. In the evening, a delightful dinner in the wonderful old town of Lucerne will take place. The second day, Saturday September 3, 2016 will be devoted to an excursion. You will have the opportunity to discover a beautiful part of Switzerland together with like-minded people.

Friday September 2

Amphasys will welcome all participants in the morning and kick-off the Amphacademy 2016. Several speakers will introduce you to new applications and amazing results of their field of study. Please find below the preliminary program. More details will follow soon.

Saturday September 3

We take you to a wonderful excursion “A day atop the Queen of the Mountains”. Please plan the whole day for this activity and either take a late night travel option or stay until Sunday. It’s worth it. 

   

 

REGISTRATION

Join us at the Amphacademy 2016 on September 2 to 3. Please register by e-mail at claudia.ullmann@amphasys.com. Registrations are limited, admission will be granted in the order of registration. This exclusive event is open to our customers, researchers and anyone interested in our technology.

Attendance is free for customers with a support and maintenance contract. For all other attendees the registration fee is CHF 175 (excl. VAT) per participant. The price includes the full two-day program (meeting, coffee & tea during breaks, lunch, Friday evening dinner, excursion including lunch). 

 

LOCATION

 

The location in Root, Lucerne is nicely embedded in the Swiss Alps most beautiful summits and offers spectacular scenery. Lucerne is not only a historically amazing town. Situated on the shore of lake Lucerne, it offers one of Switzerlands most breath-taking sceneries. You will enjoy your stay!

You can book a room with in several hotels near Amphasys at the Technopark Lucerne. If you are interested in booking through us, please let us know and we will gladly recommend you a selection of hotels. The hotels located in Lucerne allow easy travel to Root by train (10 min). EXCURSION

 
Our tour on Saturday will lead us to the "Queen of the Mountains", the Rigi. The tour includes a scenic boat cruise on Lake Lucerne, a ride uphill on the cogwheel railway to the top of the Rigi and a ride down with the aerial cable car back to Lucerne. We will enjoy the view of the Swiss Alps and go for a walk through the pastures. See detailed program for more info:
